It has been said that a second language is one of the best gifts a parent can give a child. L’Etoile du Nord French Immersion (LNFI) is the only French immersion school in St. Paul. Our goal is to have all of our students speak and understand French by grade 5.  With many native French speakers on staff and a highly-involved parent community, LNFI offers remarkable learning opportunities to our students.

PTO Plant Sale

Why not satisfy your urge to coax Spring along and contribute to the LNFI PTO at the same time? Gertens Greenhouse supplies LNFI with healthy, high quality, beautiful plants, and at least 25% of your Plant Sale purchase goes to the LNFI PTO to help fund our Intern and Enrichment Programs.

Plant orders are due by Monday, March 23. Pick up date: Tuesday, May 5.

Quality Child Care at SPPS

Discovery Club is open this summer from June 15 - August 28 (closed July 3). PreK - 6th grade care is $42 per day and includes field trips on Thursdays.Families may sign up for only the weeks of care needed (three days minimum per week).

Principal Fatima Lemtouni is a fluent native French speaker who also speaks three other languages – Berber, Arabic and English. She brings a wealth of experience to her new position, including a background in teaching different languages to both native and second-language English speakers.
