Bienvenue à L'Etoile du Nord!

It has been said that a second language is one of the best gifts a parent can give a child. L’Etoile du Nord French Immersion (LNFI) is the only French immersion school in St. Paul. Our goal is to have our students understanding, speaking, reading and writing in French by grade 5. Click here to learn more about immersion education. Click here to learn about our program.

School News

All-School Family Dance

Thursday, May 19, 6 - 7:30 PM.  The all-school family dance is officially back this year!  Join other LNFI families at the LOWER CAMPUS to dance, socialize, and enjoy some concessions.  Rockin' Ryan, Apex Fun Run trainer, will DJ the event, so grab the entire family and join the fun!  Additional volunteers are needed to help make this a successful event, so please go online to sign up to help.

Scholastic BOGO Book Fair

The Buy-One-Get-One-Free (BOGO) Scholastic Book Fair will be at Lower Campus on Tuesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 12. Students will be able to shop during the day, if they bring money to school. To facilitate this and to have the book fair open during parent pick-up and New Student Night (May 12), we need volunteers for an hour or two (depending on your availability) during the school day and from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on May 12.  Please sign up online or email Becky.   More information about the sale will be sent home in a backpack flyer.

LNFI Garage/Bake Sale

Volunteers are needed on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, for the LNFI Garage Sale.  (Money earned at the sale will support overnight field trip scholarships.)  Please sign up online.  If you would like to help sort, organize and price items or have questions, please contact McKenzie Mahoney.  McKenzie will be sorting items Friday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:15 and may be available other times during the school day if another time is more convenient for volunteers.  Please email her for more details and plan to meet at the garage doors (adjacent to the back doors in the parking lot) on Friday afternoons.
