About Mme Chang

Madame Chang en 3e année!

Bonjour! It's great to meet you!

When I started teaching at LNFI in 2006, I was Madamoiselle Przybylski (a mouthful, right?). I got married in 2010, and changed my name to something you can all spell. And pronounce on the first try. You are welcome.

I attended Macalester College where I majored in French and Sociology. While there, I spent a semester studying international development, and teaching English in Dakar,

Senegal. After graduation, I was an English language assistant in Montpellier, France. Upon my return from Europe, I went back to school, achieving a Master's in Teaching with a specialization in foreign languages and cultures from the University of St. Thomas.  The 2012-2013 academic year will be my seventh teaching 3rd grade at LNFI.

I spend most of my spare time with my husband, our son, and the family dog. I love

to read, and am addicted to word games (scrabble, anyone?). I am also a certified yoga instructor, a rock climber, and a lover of the outdoors.

I hope to establish an inclusive, respectful environment in my classroom where all students are comfortable taking academic risks. I'm enthusiastic about immersion education and am looking forward to another great year working with the students and parents of LNFI!
