What is it?
The Continental Math Leagueis offered to the nation's public and private schools since 1980.
It is a supplementto the school program that helps students improve their reading comprehensionand problem solving skills in math.
The students will beparticipating with other students on the same grade level from schools all overthe United States. These activities are conducted in class during regularschool hours.
How does it work?
At each grade level(grade 2 and 3) the contest consists of three 30-minute problem-solving meets(6 questions per meet).
The three meets areheld at the school, in the classroom during the months of January, February andMarch.
