Get ready! Get set! Let's go on a fieldtrip!
Here's a list of the fieldtrips our class has planned so far this year. More fieldtrips could be added, so check back frequently! Information on fieldtrips always goes home in blue communication letters, so check there as well!

If you would like to chaperone any of the trips (I hope you do!), please let me know as soon as you are able. Thanks!

  • Wednesday, November 7th, 2007: All 3rd graders spend the day at the Minnesota Zoo. (free, lunch is provided)
  • Wednesday, November 14th, 2007: Mlle Przybylski's class goes to the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center to meet our partner class from Stillwater for the first time. (free, need a bag lunch from home or from the cafeteria)
  • Thursday, December 6th, 2007: All 3rd grade classes will go to the MN Jewish Theater Company to see "The Magic Dreidels". (price is $9.00 per student, we will be back in time for lunch at school)
  • Friday, January 18th, 2008: Mlle Przybylski's class goes to Valley Branch Environmental Learning Center. Bundle up! We'll be outside! (no cost, need to bring a lunch from home or order one from the cafeteria)
  • Thursday, February 21st, 2008: Mlle Przybylski's class visits the Mill City Museum. We will learn about water with our partner class. (no cost, need to bring a bag lunch from home or from the cafeteria)
  • Friday, March 14th, 2008: All 3rd graders go to Orchestra Hall for a Young People's Concert based around the book, "On the Day You Were Born" by Debra Frasier. (cost will be around $8 per student, no need to bring a lunch)
  • Tuesday, May 13th, 2008: Mlle Przybylski's class visits Valley Branch Environmental Learning Center again! This time, we will see our partner class from Stillwater. (no cost, need a bag lunch from home or from the cafeteria)
  • Thursday, May 15th, 2008: Mlle Przybylski's class goes to the Minnesota State Capitol to help plant the gardens that will commemorate our state's 150th birthday. We will get dirty! No cost. McDonald's lunch is provided. Please send a sack lunch if you do not wish for your child to eat fast food.
  • Tuesday, May 20th, 2008: All 3rd graders go to the Como Planetarium. (no cost, no need to bring a lunch).
  • Wednesday, May 28th, 2008: All 3rd grade classes go to Arlington High School for their Health Fair. We will visit various booths in the gymnasium for presentations and demonstrations by Arlington students. No cost. No need to bring a bag lunch.
