WebMap				Home > Resources > Discovery Club > Our Staff  Print View Our Staff Kim Engstrom, Site Manager Kim, Site Manager at L'Etoile du Nord has been working with the Discovery Club program for ten years. Her first two years were spent working at the St. Anthony Park Discovery Club as a teaching assistant, and then as a group leader. Kim then went to Horace Mann School as a Site Manager for six years. This year is her second year at L'Etoile du Nord. It's no secret, our Discovery Club staff is an excellent group of talented individuals who simply love kids, and we all count it a priviledge to work with the students we serve at L'Etoile du Nord. Kathy Jordahl, Group Leader Kathy works with Group 1, the kindergarteners and first graders. A graduate from Concordia University, in St. Paul, with a BA in Sociology, Kathy is in her ninth year working for Discovery Club. Previously, she was at Horace Mann D.C. for four years and St.Anthony Park D.C. for three years. She enjoys working with the youngest children. Her group will be working on sewing, sign language, community building, the environment and recycling. Kari Soeffker, Group Leader Kari works with Group 2, the second graders. She is excited to be here as this is her 16th year with Discovery Club. She moved here from Webster Magnet Discovery Club. She has completed her Interdepartmental Major in Child Psychology, Speech Communications, and Sociology and is really looking forward to spending time with your children. [Back]
