Language Arts Writer's Workshop
is a daily routine of writing. Children work at their own pace on a
series of publishings in a variety of genres. Instruction revolves
around the best practices of writing, and students learn to analyze and
imitate the craft of published authors. Click here for more information
on the Writer's Workshop.
Reader's Workshop
is similar in structure to Writer's Workshop. Students read daily in a
variety of settings; whole-group, small-group, read-aloud, and
individually. Small guided reading groups ensure that students work at
their comfort level while whole group instruction teaches the skills
that good readers need. Click here for more information on Reader's Workshop.
