Get ready! Get set! Let's go on a field trip! Here's a list of the fieldtrips our class has planned so far this year. More fieldtrips will be added, so check back frequently! Information on fieldtrips always goes home in yellow communication folders, so check there as well! If you would like to chaperone any of the trips (I hope you do!), please let me know as soon as you are able. Thanks! *October 7, 2008: Ordway Theater. We will see the Katha Dance Theatre. Buses will leave LNFI at 9:30 and return at 12:15. 3rd graders will eat lunch at school after the fieldtrip. *EMID Partnerships: Three field trips per class to visit partner classes from Stillwater. Dates to be determined. *November 10 - 12, 2008: Concordia Language Villages, Lac du Bois     More information is on its way! *November 25, 2008: Children's Theater. *December 2, 2008: First EMID partnership meeting. We will go to the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Community Center for a relationship-building meeting with our partner class from Oak Park Elementary in Stillwater, MN. Sack lunch needed. *February 12, 2009: Mill City Museum. We will explore the impact of the mills and St. Anthony Falls on our city and state at the Mill City Museum with our partner class from Oak Park Elementary. Sack lunch needed. *March 17, 2009: Minnesota Zoo. *March (exact date to be determined): Valley Branch Environmental Learning Center. *April 30, 2009: Valley Branch ELC with Partnership Class. Yes, we get to go to beautiful Valley Branch again, this time with our partner class from Oak Park. We will learn about water and our environment (organisms that live in water and erosion concepts).
