Pre-Kindergarten

In L'Etoile du Nord's Pre-K program, students learn through play and exercise their social, emotional, and problem-solving skills... all while listening to and speaking in French!

Pre-K Program Overview

• One full-day class for 2024-25 (9:30am-4pm)
• 1:10 classroom ratio (20 students maximum in each class)
• Full-time native French-speaking teaching assistant
• Play-based “Discovering Our World” early childhood curriculum

• Ease Into Day (Breakfast)
• Morning Meeting
• Literacy Groups + Active Learning #1
• Lunch
• Recess
• Daily Read Aloud
• Specialist (Art, STIMA, Gym, or Science)
• Nap Time
• Snack Time
• Math Groups + Active Learning #2 or Recess #2
• End of Day

Pre-K Program Highlights
