Support Services
At L'Etoile du Nord, we believe that every student has the ability to learn French and flourish in our school when given the right support.
L'Etoile du Nord's Special Education team offers high quality, effective special education services as part of Saint Paul Public Schools. As a school that cherishes our diverse community, we value the perspectives and experiences of all students, including those with different abilities and neurotypes.
We recognize and support the importance of designing an educational experience to meet the unique needs of each student with an educational disability. Working with teachers and parents, the team focuses on helping students develop the skills necessary to succeed in school.
Students qualifying for special education may receive one or more of the following supports: academic instruction, adapted physical education, nursing services, occupational therapy, paraprofessional services, physical therapy, speech/language and social work.
