Staff Profile

Andrew Barter is a bilingual educator and experienced school leader currently serving as an Assistant Principal at South St. Paul Middle School. He previously supported students in a student support role at the same school and brings a strong background in classroom teaching and coaching to his leadership.

Prior to his work in South St. Paul, Mr. Barter spent five years teaching French and coaching lacrosse at Totino-Grace High School. He holds a K–12 Administrative License from Hamline University, a Master’s Degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Gettysburg College.
