About Mme Faltesek
Bonjour! My name is Madame Anita Faltesek and I will be your child’s Pre-K teacher this year. I am honored to be the one who will guide your child as they start their educational journey and discover the joys of learning and language in our classroom. I am excited to see them develop and grow over the course of the year.
I have been teaching at LNFI ever since I graduated from college in 2011. I even did my student teaching here! Before PreK, I previously taught Kindergarten for 7 years at our school. I love teaching the little ones with their enthusiasm to learn and play! They are the best!
I am a Minnesotan girl who grew up in Little Canada, and now I live close by in North St. Paul. I have attended many local private colleges to further my education, including the University of St. Thomas, Concordia University St. Paul, Bethel University, and St. Catherine's University. During my undergrad, I lived and studied in Nantes, France.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy knitting (hats and scarves are my specialty), watching movies, playing cribbage, and curling with my family. I live with my husband Tom, our daughter Ellie, and our son Jack. Both Jack and Ellie go to LNFI. We currently have two pet cockroaches named Cocky and Roachy and hopefully we will be adopting a new dog soon! I also have 3 older brothers: Luke, Pete, and Jake. My mom's name is Candy and my dad's name is Delbert.
