About M. Mang
Bonjour,
My name is Mr. Philippe Mang. I am a 4th grade teacher at LNFI.
I started teaching at LNFI in 2014.
I hold a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and a Minnesota Teaching license in Chemistry as well as a license in Elementary Education.
I came with 13 years of teaching experience from Cameroon, my native country. I have been teaching in the USA for 23 years. I started as an Exchange teacher in a French Immersion School in Kansas City, MO, where I taught 4th and 5th Grades. I also taught Junior and High school Math and Science (General Science, Physics and Chemistry) in Lee's Summit, MO. I moved to Minneapolis, MN in 2007, where I got the privilege to teach 7-12 Science and Math and 2-5 Grades during summer school before coming to LNFI.
I like to exercise. I also enjoy playing basketball and tennis.
I'm excited about this school year as I am starting my 9th year at LNFI. My goal is to meet all students' needs and help them reach their full potential in Math.
My favourite quote is " A teacher who stops learning should also stop teaching".
